This project was undertaken to investigate the feasibility of using SEPS to treat piggery effluent and manage piggery solids in the summer dominant rainfall area of southern Qld, which is a major pork-producing region. The results of this project enable producers, industry and regulatory authorities to evaluate the merit of wider adoption of this potentially valuable effluent management technology throughout Qld and northern NSW.
