This travel award provided for Dr Chris Grupen to attend the 9th International Conference on Pig Reproduction in Olsztyn, Poland, which covered topics of “gonads, gametes and embryos”, “pregnancy, parturition and the neonate”, and “reproductive biotechnology”. Dr Grupen also visited and presented at the French National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA). The trip allowed Dr Grupen to meet with premier pig reproductive biologists, and numerous group leaders, to discuss their research findings and future research plans and identify a number of new potential collaborators for future research.
